PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: THE MOST AFFORDABLE OPTION
GUAGUAS & INTERCITY BUSES TO RESIDENTIAL GATEIf you are looking for a budget-friendly option to arrive at Sweet Home Punta Cana Guest-House, public transportation is very practical. If you take the bus from Santo Domingo or another town (Expreso Bávaro), inform the bus assistant that your stop is VILLAS BÁVARO II - Costa Bávaro.
PROVISION OF YOUR ID
Security may temporarily retain your ID at the Main Gate until check-in is completed and your Visitor’s Pass is issued, allowing you to enter and exit the complex during your stay.
MOTO-CONCHOS NOT ALLOWED
Moto-conchos cannot enter the residential complex. They must drop you off at the Main Gate. If traveling with luggage, consider an Uber, taxi or private transfer instead.
UBERS ALLOWED
Ubers, taxis and private vehicles can enter for pick-ups and drop-offs. A transportation area just outside the Main Gate also offers moto-conchos, taxis, Uber and other local options.

In order to take the first bus, you would need to walk to the public bus station located right outside of the airport (no shuttles available from the airport to the bus station – you need to get there by walking).

In order to make it to Sweet Home Punta Cana from Santo Domingo or any other town, you will first need to make it to Punta Cana and for that, you will need to take a bus either from the outside of the Santo Domingo AILA Airport or from your preferred location in the capital.
